How to choose the right package
How do I know which package to choose, how long do I need the photographer for?
Why does it matter how many guests I have?
Understanding what is involved in a typical wedding is a good place to start.
Here is a break down of a standard wedding day and how the photographer's time might be spent.
Typical wedding overview broken down into photo times:
Pre-wedding getting ready (one location) : 1 hour
Arrival at the wedding location: 15 minutes
Entrance into the church: 10 minutes
Ceremony: 20-60 minutes
Post ceremony photos of everyone gathering: 15-30 minutes
Bridal party photos: 1-2 hours (including transport/ walking between locations)
Arrival into reception, cutting of the cake, speeches, guest photos: 1-2 hours
Total time the photographer is required: almost 7 hours.
For a micro wedding, typically the getting ready photos, the cake cutting, arrival into reception and speeches aren't going to need to be photographed and photography for guests and couple are far quicker.
So only 2-3 hours is usually required.
For elopements, I have been able to complete an entire shoot within one hour!
It's your day and if you just want the getting ready photos- I'm up for that too!
As the saying goes: Your day, your way!
The packages I have designed are loosely based on what people have requested in the past, what I have photographed the most or what is enough to give you an idea of my prices.
I am never firm on these packages, as every wedding is different, every location is different and your day is unique.
